AquaTrek began with a simple belief: the underwater world can change the way people see themselves and the planet around them.
But reaching that world is rarely a single moment. It is a trek.
From curiosity to stewardship
It begins with curiosity. Then come questions, training, equipment, trust, confidence, and the support of experienced professionals. Over time, a new diver becomes part of a community—and often becomes someone who wants to protect the places they have learned to love.
That journey depends on more than enthusiasm. It depends on knowledgeable instructors, skilled technicians, strong local dive businesses, reliable support, and teammates who take pride in doing the work correctly.

A local dive community
We are a local dive community, but our purpose extends far beyond one store or one region. Every customer interaction, class, repair, trip, checklist, and improvement contributes to a larger effort: strengthening the dive industry so more people can experience the underwater world—and develop a reason to protect it.
We are a family (female and veteran) owned business in the City of Salem, in the Roanoke Valley. Our staff has extensive diving experience, and we pride ourselves on training you for adventures in the underwater world — in a relaxed, friendly environment.
We have regularly scheduled classes, and offer flexibility to meet your busy lifestyle. We consider our customers “dive family” — dive year round, join us for non-diving activities, or stop by the shop for a visit. We are always glad to see you.
Good divers know there is always more to learn
Continuing education — specialties, advanced, local, tropical, technical, or professional levels — keeps you ready to dive. Whether your interests are in the quarry or the open ocean, we can take you there.
Equipment service
Aquatrek maintains diving equipment for peak performance. We service, inspect, and repair tanks, regulators, computers, BCDs, wet suits, and dry suits.
